Most joyfull cat to watch: Veerle. Thank you for the outstanding young and fresh performance. Too bad your voice was never heard.

All Roads Lead to the Jellicle Ball.
Aweeeeeeeeeee😢😢😢😢 I remember you I got your autograph.
It's been little over 25 years, since the 90s musical of Cats. Now Cats Musical needs to be respected. But in 2019, that I hate. Cause it doesn't show respected and justice. I would like to see reboot, with real actors with musical experience on stage. Just like Ken Page. I know we all got older, but I preferred Old Deuteronomy as Ken Page again. Since his character is also old, so. I rather see Ken Page as his character of Old Deuteronomy again.
I loved Universal Studios did back in the 90s, but now I disliked. They should've bring actors that has Broadway musical history. That's why.
Beautiful work, thank you.
This was so wonderful
Cats is not children friendly. No scary scenes it's what it portrays. Adult content.
Tugger was never annoying
Ty your becee annoying
I loved it! Great job 👍🏼👍🏼 Syd smiles down upon you
Ellen Paige is the GOAT of Grizabella
Oh my God seeing the actors not as cats but as people freaked me out
It seems like the best thing to wear, when going for wig and make up is a hoodie or a sweater with a zip, as you don't need to pull it over your head
The bad quality of the camera and audio matches greatly with the dark atmosphere of the song
If anyone thinks that whites are the superior race needs to look no further then the English aristocracy (such as the hideously inbred Andrew lloyd Weber) to be proven wrong
What the fuck are you talking about? 😒
sensational~that "memory" montage near the end is so moving~
who is fatty guy in yellow shirt
I first saw cats in 1981 in the new London. However the best production I saw was in 1989 in Blackpool UK. Changed had been made for the better and wasn't so much of a vehicle for star names to do a turn
Ever since I was 4 I’ve been obsessed with this film. I’m 20 now and still watch it a few times a month. This film has my whole heart.
In my opinion, one of the greatest dis-services the recent film version did to this show (among the many, MANY dis-services) was to try to shoe-horn in a plot. "Cats" the musical does not have a plot. There is no arc, there is no through-action. The film tried to imply that every cat was presenting their case for getting to The Heaviside Layer (and thus MacCavity trying to crime his way into that ticket). I have never, EVER thought of it that way, and I don't feel that the original staging lends itself to that interpretation in any way. Skimbleshanks the Railway Cat doesn't want to be chosen to go to T.H.L. tonight; he wants to continue doing his job on the railway. Mungojerrie and Rumpleteaser don't want to be chosen to go to T.H.L. tonight; they want to continue burgling and making mischief and having fun! Gus the Theatre Cat might not mind being given the privilege; he's lived a long life, with fond memories that are mostly behind him. But I don't see his reminiscing about the good ol' days as a plea for Cat Heaven. He's just an old actor, talking to a new generation of young people. The "plot" of Cats is this: "Here are some of the colorful characters who live in the neighborhood; let's meet them." That's it. That. Is. It. That's all there is to it. There is wonderful music, amazing dancing, super creative costumes, humor, pathos, all of that. But if someone is looking for a beginning, middle, and end: that is not this show. The characters are introduced in a certain order, which flow nicely from one to the next. But frankly you could do all of the numbers in the show practically by pulling them from a hat, and the core of the show would not change: "Here are some of the colorful characters who live in the neighborhood; let's meet them." Grizabella has some small character arc; the tribe that used to adore her in her glory days as "The Glamour Cat" are mostly dead now, and the current younger generation don't know who she used to be. They only know her as that somewhat ragged old cat with the shady past who they either ignore, or actively distrust. But eventually they come to understand how and why her and her story is beautiful. Eventually she "wins" the right to go to The Heaviside Layer. There is some arc to that story. But even that is not "THE PLOT" of Cats. It's a charming piece of the show, but it is not the plot; it is not the point. The point is to meet all of these interesting characters and see what their culture is all about. The film tried to make it all about the Contest- the Heaviside Layer induction contest, with everyone vying for that honor. That was a tremendous mistake (among many). This filmed stage version- bringing together all of the very best cast members on the very best stage, under the perfect conditions, to film this stage show for all posterity- this was magic. This was amazing. This was once in a lifetime. If there were anything about this that needed to be re-made for the 21st century, I wish they had managed to capture the warmth and heart of this production. It's a bummer that they didn't. -My 2¢
If Andrew Lloyd Webber and Gillian Lynne were invited me to the West End Production of Cats at Adelphi Theatre, then I would watch it from the audience alone with no one else around
That's ok I'll wait until the war on Terrorism is over so that the library can consume our the books & sound tracks
Thanks for hanging out with me I had sent a request for black beauty Motown greatest hits albums films and musicals and the Tippaecanoe County public library started re organizing the books

Hi! You posted a cover of a song a long time ago, around the time you did Lenders at the Temple. I don’t remember the name of it, do you think you can help me out?
And where are you now!! Little One😢
First saw this when i was 7 years old! It’s made an impact on me I’m so happy I saw this when it first came out!
This is hands down the absolute best! I have loved it from the very time I saw it... ❤❤❤❤
I was so lucky to see this at the Rosemont Theater in the Chicago area around this time. The cast was not just part of this film but also the live version. Got to meet them during intermission and the actresses who was Cassandra was an absolute sweetheart (she loves kids)
Jemima is the best over years!
17:11 Aeva May (Demeter) forgets to mime. She pulls a face when she realises her mistake.
Greatest cast to ever play Cats. There have been some great Grizabellas through the years, but I am SO glad they got Elaine Paige to put the definitive character on screen. Just not the same without her. Michael Gruber, John Partridge and Jo Effin Gibb blow their roles OUT OF THE WATER. Love the actors for Demeter, Bombalina and Jemima as well. And both the featured dancers playing Victoria and Mistofolees are as good as I've ever seen. Just absolutely perfectly casted.
Wow, I wish I could see this musical in person back in those days!
I like the 2016 cast, music, and choreography more, but this will always be held very close to my heart. I love seeing the evolution of the rum tum tugger lmao
Andrew Lloyd Webber and Vladimir Putin have a lot common. They are both dictators using the same dictatorsship tricks, even though their goal is different. But the ultimate outcome of the production suffers from it in that the performers look more like marionettes than humans or cats with own personality.
I’m gonna be in this musical in may! I’m so excited
Two weeks before my love passed away he insisted for us to see Cats. He was giving me a message. I didn't realize this until twenty years after.
Best orchestra ever played cats musical
Andrew loyd Webber is musical genius
It must be said that Gillian Lynne is as much a creator of this show as ALW
The Cats movie was beyond awful
Quem assiste um show desta magnitude não consegue imaginar quão grandiosa é a produção. Eu amo muito tudo isso. ALW, é o melhor de todos. ❤️
I love a lot of Broadway shows or cats was the worst one I hate it I'm surprised they didn't Mount each other frisky and I'm horny my friends used to make fun of that show God I hated that show and I think it's because I hate cats
I watch you to this day; and I can’t wait to show you to my nices and nephews this summer. Thank you all, for this gift. I will see that it extends at least beyond my life.
